The Chrisann Tallis Beautification Committee would like to have fresh flowers in the sanctuary as often as possible to enhance our weekend Masses. This program allows you to honor your loved ones or commemorate an anniversary with flowers on the altar, or perhaps celebrate your patron saint day in a special way.
- Determine if you want 1 bouquet at $50 or 1 bouquet at $100. The committee will work with a local florist to provide the flowers. Each $50 bouquet will be $40 in flowers and each $100 bouquet will be $90 in flowers. The extra money will go into a fund to provide seed money for our flowers throughout the year for special occasions such as Marian feast days, Holy Days of Obligation, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, etc.
- Choose the weekend that you want to sponsor flowers and place your order at least two weeks in advance. You can complete the floral intentions form available at the entrances of the church, in the parish office, or print off the Altar Flowers Order Form, and place it in the weekend collection basket. Payment must accompany your request. You can pay for your flowers with a check made out to St. Mary’s Church or pay through online giving.
- Be sure to include: The date(s) you want the flowers on the altar, the names of loved ones or the occasion you want honored or commemorated, and what colors or specific flowers, if any, that you want included.
- All floral intentions will be published in the bulletin and announced at the Masses for the weekend.
