Currently the maximum seating capacity of each church in the Diocese of Peoria is 25%, and our weekend Mass ushers have been trained to make sure this capacity is not exceeded. If the 25% seating capacity has been reached before a weekend Mass begins, the ushers will invite you to consider participating in one of the parking lots by listening on your car radio to FM 100.9, and then receiving communion immediately following Mass in the north parking lot. Each Mass (weekend and weekday) is also livestreamed, which you may watch at https://www.youtube.com/user/gdegory/videos
Each entrance of the church has hand sanitizer stations that you are welcome to use, as well as offering bins in which to place your weekly offering. Please help yourselves to a missalette, which we ask you to keep and bring back and forth with you each week. You are welcome to sit anywhere in the church that is not sectioned off with blue tape, and the ushers are ready to assist you, if needed. We also ask that you keep a distance of 6 feet from anyone else not from your own household at all times.
We ask that everyone wear masks in church at all times, except the moment you receive Holy Communion, and exit church immediately following your reception of communion, unless announced otherwise. There are white floor markers you may stand on while in the communion line to help maintain a proper distance between other parishioners.
We regularly open several windows throughout the church to provide more adequate airflow during Mass.
We thank everyone for your patience as we enforce these guidelines, and we will let you know on this website, the parish app, as well as the bulletin, of any new updates in our guidelines in the future!
